If your goal is to enter the show ring, exercise your dog or increase its confidence, join Blairwood Canine's Phyllis Biedron, voted the best agility instructor by the readers of "Chicagoland Tails," and play a sport you and your dog will enjoy.

Agility is one of the fastest growing canine sports, relying on teamwork between the dog and handler. While racing the clock, the handler directs the dog through a series of obstacles, which have been adapted from equestrian events, military K-9 and search and rescue training equipment. Agility started in 1978 at Crufts in England, and Ken Tatsch introduced the sport in the United States in 1985.
